Mission Statement

  • Medical Help Family Practice is in operation to provide care and
    access to the patient in pain, in an environment conducive to
    health, healing, and harmony.
  • We are committed to the teaching and training the physicians of
    tomorrow.


Vision Statement

  • Provide care and compassion to patients in pain.

  • The medical students that we teach, will develop the Knowledge,
    Attitudes and Skills necessary to select and treat patients in pain.

  • We will screen a panel of selected patients using the most
    accurate tools available to balance the risks and benefits of pain
    medications.

  • Guidelines are essential to limit the risk of addiction and diversion.
    These guidelines are incorporated in to the practice as they
    become known and available.

  • Once addiction, diversion and other issues incompatible with
    continued care are identified, "exit strategies" are in place to keep
    only the most appropriate patients in the practice.

  • We believe that communication balanced with privacy is key; open
    and transparent communication is essential to the care of our
    patients.
